Through a newsletter format sent every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, Calder News highlights everything from upcoming weekend happenings to noteworthy local developments and feel-good reports, helping residents stay connected and informed about the rhythms of life in and around the city.

A flexible system of Instagram post templates was created to streamline daily content while maintaining a consistent, recognizable look. The templates are designed to accommodate a range of content types—from headlines to event promos—making it easy for the Calder.news team to publish quickly without sacrificing visual clarity or brand cohesion.

Logo System

The new logo was designed as a modular system that adapts across three distinct color schemes while remaining immediately recognizable. Multiple primary and alternative layouts allow the mark to scale across platforms, formats, and contexts, ensuring consistent branding; it’s able to be used in the newsletter, on social media, or in promotional materials.

The typeface is a favorite of mine: DDC Hardware by Aaron Draplin.
